AR DYNAMICS (ARD) is a laboratory-based research company. Our main focus is on phytomedicine. We research into the use of plants for medicinal efficacy. Specifically, we identify the main active compounds in plants that have been implicated in the treatment of ailments.

AR Dynamics
Many patients with acute and chronic diseases usually begin with self-medication using herbs; and when they observe little or no improvement, they go to hospitals to consult conventional doctors.
In most cases, the doctors would want to know the chemical contents of the herbal medicines which the patients have been using before hospital consultation. This is where ARD expertise becomes useful. We provide conventional medical practitioners with the names and chemical structures of the bioactive compounds in the herbal products which are used by most of the patients before they visit the doctors. Such information is of tremendous help to the doctors in the diagnosis and prescription of medications to patients.
Goal of ARD
The goal of ARD is to provide the medical doctors with scientific information on the components and main active ingredients in the herbs which most of the patients use before visiting the hospital. This includes the names and chemical structures of the principles including their modes of action. We also provide local and scientific names of these plants and their geographical locations for verification.
Benefit to the Doctor
Through the information provided by ARD, the consulting Doctor is able to know the drugs that the patient has been using thereby enhancing the knowledge of the Doctor on the state of the patient’s ailment. It also sheds light on possible drug-drug interactions which would guide the Doctor in his prescription.
Correct Prescription & Dosage
Correct prescription and dosage of drugs play tremendous impacts in the treatment and cure of diseases. The knowledge of the chemical components of the ingredients in the herbs previously or currently being taken by the patients before visiting the Doctor will aid and guide the Doctor to prescribe correct medication and dosage medicines.
ARD Team Members
The service of ARD relies very much on the knowledge, experience and documented records of the Director, an Emeritus Professor of Phytomedicine, who has more than 40 years of teaching and research in the use of plants for the treatment of various diseases. He has published more than 500 peer-reviewed articles in local and internation journals. He supervised and graduated with 55 PhD, 25 MSc and mentored 29 postdoctoral fellows, all in the use of medicinal plants for the treatment of ailments.
